Raspberry Pi Smart Display Module

Description

Raspberry Pi Smart Display Module is an adapter board which
permits the integration of Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 into
digital signage platforms which comply with the Intel® Smart Display
Module (SDM) specification. No external cabling, power or enclosure
is required.
Key features:
• Compatible with Compute Module 5 (which mounts directly on the
Smart Display Module).
• Slots directly into host displays that support the SDM specification.
• Included heatsink fits within the SDM form factor and conducts
heat away from the CM5.
• Powered directly by the host display, requiring no separate power
supply.
• M.2 M-key PCIe socket compatible with the 2230, 2242, 2260, and
2280 form factors; used to add more storage or AI acceleration.
• Compatible with the Raspberry Pi Antenna Kit; the external
antenna can be positioned to the outside of the host display.
• Second HDMI output, with support for an independent video
stream.
• External power button. Power cycle the module independently
from the display.
• LED. Indicates power status and storage activity.
The Smart Display Module box contains the following components:
• Smart Display Module
• Passive aluminium heatsink
• Four M3 screws to secure heatsink
• Two M2 screws to secure Compute Module 5
• A drive attachment screw to secure M.2 card
