Description
USBtinyISP is a simple open source AVR programmer with SPI interface. It is low cost, easy to build, works well with avrdude, has two ISP cables, one 6 and the other 10 pin is compatible with AVRStudio and has been tested with Windows XP and MacOS X. With other systems like Vista / Windows 7 may or may not work, please consult the manufacturer Adafruit forum before purchasing.
It is not suitable for JTAG or High Voltage programming and does not support chips with more than 64K of flash memory, such as the Atmega1280 / 1281, or the Atmega2560 / 2561. The project is based on the code and design of USBtiny.
The kit is to be assembled, the USB cable (from type A to type B), necessary for connection with a computer, is not included.
