Description

8-bit level shifter, accepts input signals up to 5.5V and converts them to 3.3V-1.8V. Ideal, for example, to interface an Arduino UNO (5V logic) with devices and sensors that use 3.3V logic. To use it connect the VCC pin to the logic level to which you want to convert the signal (for example 3.3V), connect the GND pin to ground, the OE pin to ground to enable the device and the DIR pin (direction) to VCC, this will enable the direction from A to B. The digital signals on pin A, up to a maximum of 5.5V, will appear on the corresponding pin B converted to the logic indicated on pin VCC. Manufactured by Texas Instruments, part number SN74LVC245A.
